Welcome to the Basic Fighter Maneuvers IWATS. This course is designed help you understand the basic aspects of 1v1 combat, as well as some advanced maneuvers. However, this is simply the theory. I advise you read the glossary section first, because I will be using terms you might not have heard before. Actually, it might help to have the course notes and glossary in separate windows for ease of definition. To fully understand what you have learned here, it is highly recommended that you apply it in an actual combat situation. I make no guarantees that you will win your first time out, but practice makes perfect, as the cliché goes.
I'd like to thank all the great pilots I've had the honor of flying into combat with. You've given me a wealth of information with which I've written this course. Here's to you lot.
