Trainee (TRN) - A Trainee is assigned to IWATS onboard Platform Daedalus and has not yet been qualified to serve in an active squadron. A Trainee's only duty is to complete their training.	No Insignia
Flight Member (FM) - Most commonly the activities a FM will engage in are competitions. The only actual requirement of a Flight Member is to stay in contact with his/her Squadron Commander.
Flight Leader (FL) - The role of the FL will vary depending on the CMDR. Some CMDRs give the FL a lot of responsibility, others don't. This may also be dependent on the number of members in the flight. The FL usually makes the squadron CMDR aware of promising FMs as well as generally being an assistant to the CMDR when needed.
Squadron Commander (CMDR) - The CMDR is the first "real" level of command and responsibility. A CMDR is responsible for up to 11 other members. CMDRs review the performance of their members and make recommendations to their Wing Commander for medals and promotions. A CMDR must also maintain a roster of his or her squadron for submission to superiors in order to keep the On-line rosters updated. CMDRs may also initiate competitions with other squadrons and more often than not are the creators and upkeepers of their squadron's web page.
Wing Commander (WC) - The WC most often does things like promote and award medals to FMs. WCs are responsible for up to 72 members and must keep their CMDRs in line. Good WCs are in constant contact with their CMDRs, as well as having strong communications ties with their fellow WCs and the Admiralty Board.
