Congratulations on your decision to join the Emperor's Hammer TIE Corps! I am Admiral Jedi Eclipse, the TIE Corps Commander and interim Dean of Imperial Weapons and Tactics School, or IWATS. I will be your instructor for this course and your direct superior until you complete your training here on Platform Daedalus. We will begin by going over the details of your training and what is required of you to graduate.

Your training with IWATS consists of two steps. They must be completed in the order listed below. Once you have satisfactorily completed both steps, you will be promoted to the rank of Sub-Lieutenant and assigned to Squadron. Here are the steps in detail.

1. Academic Certification : To earn your Academic Certification, you must take and pass the IWATS Core exam with at least a 75%.
    
2. Flight Certification : To earn your Flight Certification, you must complete one of the following, depending on which platform(s) you own.
   • Play any single player Free Mission or Battle from the battle compendium (Here)
     If you have trouble setting up EHBL to launch the mission/battle please contact me!
   • Multiplayer (XvT or XWA) : Play an official multiplayer match with an active member of the TIE Corps. Submit confirmation of the match to the Dean.

The Core exam will test your knowledge of general TIE Corps terminology, structure, and procedures. In addition, it will test your ability to utilize the Emperor's Hammer Battle Launcher, a tool required to install and play official custom missions and battles. The course notes, found by clicking the links to the left, contain all of the answers asked on the exam. You may also use the TIE Corps Pilot's Manual and the TIE Corps website as additional references. You will find the link to take the exam on the top right hand corner of the page.
